At Risk: Protecting Women's Health in Uncertain Times

On Tuesday evening, November 14th, YANA will host Dr. Claire Brindis, a distinguished health policy expert on the mounting threats to women's access to health care under President Trump and the current administration.

The Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance welcomes Claire Brindis, DrPH, a national leader in public health with influence as a policy advisor to federal, state, and local health care officials. She has played a leading role in developing and evaluating programs to improve the health of children, adolescents, and women, and is also an expert on reproductive health care programs. Dr. Brindis is a professor at UCSF Medical School and Director of the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy and Director of the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health. This YANA spotlight is open to all and free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and colleagues who are concerned about federal health care policy, and/or the proliferation of state initiatives that limit women's access to family planning, maternity care, and abortion. Feel free to stay for a 30 minute YANA board meeting following the talk. Light refreshments provided.

Date and Time: November 14th at 6:15pm
