YANA Lunchtime Roundtable: Building a Culture of Creativity

Here in the Bay Area, it seems that everyone talks about fostering innovation. But how can nonprofits with restricted funding sources and limited staff time truly support a culture of creativity and collaborative innovation? How can you leverage team diversity and creative processes to strengthen relationships and deepen community insights? These questions and more will be discussed in order to help your organization explore and embrace a culture of creative innovation.

The roundtable will be facilitated by Kate Spacek, the Director of ZERO1’s American Arts Incubator (http://americanartsincubator.org/), a partnership with the U.S. State Department. Kate's focus is to move missions that matter. She is a producer, creative director, social artist, speaker, and connector of people & ideas. She combines 20 years in business operations, project management, group facilitation, and event production with proficiencies in multimedia art, co-creativity & play, and community development to do what she loves – collaborate with change agents to spark new perspectives and innovate solutions to social challenges, both local and global.

Monday, February 27th, 12:00-1:00pm
