Join Yale PhD student Matthew Abrams lecture on the activities of Galka Scheyer, a German émigrée who spent her life advocating for modern art. Scheyer was instrumental in exposing San Francisco and Los Angeles to modernism during the 1920s and 1930s.

This lecture shall be based on preliminary archival research made possible by a fellowship from the Yale Club of San Francisco
