Ancient Eight Open Horseshoe Tournament & BBQ - The Northeast Classic

San Francisco Horseshoe Pitching Club

Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (PDT)

San Francisco, CA

Do you enjoy pitching horseshoes, or want to learn how?  Or do you just enjoy hanging out in the park with a  BBQ and friends?

If so, come discover one of Golden Gate Park's hidden historic gems built into the hillside of San Francisco's only native Old Growth Oak Woodlands.  Join us for the first annual Ancient Eight (Ivy League) Open Horseshoe Tournament & BBQ, hosted by the Dartmouth Club of Greater San Francisco and the San Francisco Horseshoe Pitching Club.

Teams and individuals can sign up for a round robin tournament, or just for the BBQ.  Expert horseshoe pitchers from the National Horseshoe Pitching Association will be on hand to help teach first-timers how to pitch a horseshoe.  And representatives from the Friends of the Oak Woodlands and SF Horseshoe Club will explain future plans and volunteer opportunities to help restore the Horseshoe Courts.

Registration/Admission:   Team registration (two players) = $30.  Individual registration = $15.  Spectator admission  = $10 (includes BBQ).  You can pre-pay or simply RSVP here
