Just Add Water on Tour to the Bay Area

Yale's musical improv comedy group will be on tour to the Bay Area in March! Contact JAW's tour manager if you are interested in hiring them for private gigs.

Dates: In Bay Area March 7-14, happy to Drive

Just Add Water, affectionately known as JAW, tours the country twice a year and performs musical improv comedy shows and workshops. JAW shows include a healthy dose of classic improv comedy-- scenes and games inspired entirely by audience suggestions, like in ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’-- but we also perform songs made up on the spot http://youtu.be/LJW3CNs4xy0. Our speciality is a 12 minute, Broadway-style musical, accompanied by our pianist. On past tours, we have performed at school assemblies, theaters, retirement homes, and private gatherings -- all we need is a room to perform in - no sets, props or special lighting are required.  Workshops teach students the basics of improv by having them try out improv and learn a little more about the ingredients to a good scene and the principles that guide our group’s improv, which has been passed down through our alumni, who include Austan Goolsbee, Jo Miller of The Daily Show and Allison Williams of Girls.
