Join fellow Yalies and IVY (IvyConnect) members for a great open bar cocktail reception and a fascinating salon discussion led by legendary Yale Professor Marc Lapadula. Free for Young Alum members.

We’re thrilled to invite you to a very special evening Friday, October 10th, featuring a great open bar cocktail reception and a fascinating salon discussion led by legendary Yale Professor Marc Lapadula! We’ll have a great group of members in attendance, and theme of the evening will be “Films That Changed America.”

While many movies are mass-produced entertainment and escapism, there are some that have had a profound impact on our culture. Whether intentionally or not, some films have brought social issues to light, affected laws, forwarded ideologies both good and bad, and generally changed the course of American history through their impact on society. This is going to be a very fun and meaningful evening as we reflect on the power of film, and we can’t wait to see you there!

When: October 10, 2014, 6:30PM (RSVP by Weds., Oct. 8th)
