Z Space invites the Yale community to the world premiere of a new musical conceived, created and composed by The Bengsons, the married duo the NY Times calls “a tremendous musical talent.”

Blending soaring vocals, frenetic rhythms and rousing all-join-hands choruses, HUNDRED DAYS is a new hybrid of indie rock, theater, and art.  In their unique, vaudevillian concert style, Shaun and Abigail Bengson tell the moving and triumphant story of a young couple falling in love only to have their time together cut short.  Deciding to live the lifetime they would have shared together in only a hundred days, they enter a fantastic universe attempting to out wit time.

HUNDRED DAYS redefines the ‘Rock Opera’ concept for a new generation, incorporating the sophistication of American dramatic theater with live concert, cabaret, surrealism, visually stunning sets (designed by Kris Stone, Yale School of Drama ’98), a full choir and salt. Yes, salt.

Simone Nelson (Yale School of Drama ’01) along with Producers Lisa Steindler and James Faerron will be on hand to say a few words about the development of the production.

Yale alumni receive a 10% discount off the regular ticket price for the Friday, March 28th performance when using the code "yalesf".
