Take a sail around San Francisco Bay in a classic schooner

Our friends from the Harvard Club of SF have invited us to join them for a beautiful and relaxing day on the water, with their discount extended to YCSF.

Take a Sail around San Francisco Bay with Friends from the Harvard Club of San Francisco

Sit back and relax, or help sail a classic 82-foot schooner around the Bay on Sunday, June 2, 2013. See all the beauty and grandeur that sailing these waters has to offer as we sail under the Golden Gate Bridge, by Alcatraz, Angel Island, Sausalito and San Francisco waterfronts. You’ll see marine life—sea birds, seals, pelicans, dolphins—that you won’t be able to see any other way.

You’ll not only enjoy the wind and the water, but will be supporting non-profit Call of the Sea.org, which empowers at-risk kids to learn about the environment and marine life on one of the region’s classic sailing vessels. Seaward, made of steel and Douglas fir, boasts two masts and five sails, is roomy and comfortable. It’s a wonderful way to get out on the water, and to meet old and new friends from Harvard and Yale. Guests welcome. Soft drinks and light snacks provided.

Click on “Enter Promotional Code” and type in “Harvard” for a 10% discount if you sign up through Eventbrite.
