Girls Innovate: Inspiring girls for innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership

The event, to be held at the inspiring facilities of tech incubator nestGSV Redwood City, is open to everyone, including:

  • Women and girls (ages 10-18) interested in making a mark in this world through entrepreneurial and innovative endeavors;
  • Mothers and daughters interested in engaging in activities, workshops and discussions around creativity, entrepreneurship and leadership; and
  • Anyone interested in learning about the role that propelling girls in entrepreneurship and innovative capacities can play in shaping the future of our economy and society.

Breakout sessions will feature separate ones for girls (grouped by age) and for adults. For the adults, discussions include:

  • Entrepreneurship 101: What is an Entrepreneur & What Does it Take to Become One?
  • Finding Your Voice through a Blog
  • Creat Your Own Ecograph - a Pictorial Representation of What You Love about Nature

This event is sponsored by Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP and hosted by nestGSV. Advanced registration is required and will open on May 11, 2013. Capacity is limited so sign up fast.
