Yalies sail the Peninsula in a reenactment of an 18th century maritime battle against Dartmouth. This event is organized by the Yale Club of Silicon Valley.

Cost: $70 general$60 for seniors (62+) and Students with ID, $50 for children (12 and under)

Join fellow Yalies for a family friendly event as we board the Hawaiian Chieftain, a replica of an 18th century European merchant trading vessel, for a thrilling reenactment of a maritime battle against another historic vessel, the Lady Washingtonwhich will be filled with our friends from Dartmouth.

The event features real cannons - but no cannonballs - with skillfull close quarter maneuvering and an educational session on maritime life in the pre-industrial era.  Feel free to sport your Yale attire or come dressed up as Jack SparrowDavey Jones or Handsome Dan - whatever you may fancy (costume not required).  This swashbuckling 3 hour trip will set sail from Redwood City at 2 PM.  Refreshments and snacks will be provided.  A professional crew will handle the ship.  All you need to do is show up ready for adventure.
