Come enjoy a free noontime performance by the New Blue, Yale’s oldest all female a cappella group. New Blue was founded in 1969, the year undergraduate women were admitted to Yale, and is therefore the university’s oldest female organization of any kind. Since then, New Blue has been traveling the world together, singing anything and everything, from Tracy Chapman to the Jackson 5 to Adele. As it approaches its 45th anniversary, New Blue still prides itself on its tradition of strong women, its rich, full sound, and its sassy and classy attitude.
