The 1968 Exhibit: Docent-led Tour of the Oakland Museum of California

Join us for this family-friendly East Bay event on Saturday, August 4!


Please join us on August 4, 2012 at 11:15 am for a special docent-led tour of the Oakland Museum of California.  This year’s tour focuses on “The 1968 Exhibit” – an ongoing collective of historical and personal stories for those who lived through it, have heard about it, wonder why it matters.  After the tour guests are free to continue viewing the exhibit and enjoy the following:    
·         Sculpture garden
·         California History Gallery
·         California Art Gallery  


The museum also has a café where lunch can be purchased after the tour. 

Adults: $14
Children ages 9-17: $10
Children age 8 and under: free (please "purchase" a free ticket, so we can get an accurate headcount)
The museum is easily accessible by BART, Car, and Bus. Validated garage parking is available (Oak Street between 10th and 12th streets). Address and contact information is:
