Prior to the performance, join Yale and Brown alumni for a no-host dinner with PlayGround co-founder and Artistic Director Jim Kleinmann (YSD '92) at Sunflower Vietnamese Restaurant at 18th/Connecticut in Potrero Hill.
Jim Kleinmann will introduce this highly entertaining fully-produced program of seven short plays and musicals by some of the Bay Area’s best new writers, developed through the Monday Night PlayGround staged reading series at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Yale alumna Joy Carlin (YSD '54) is also directing. PlayGround is the Bay Area’s leading playwright incubator, with over 600 short plays by 175 Bay Area early-career writers developed since 1994 and 41 full-length play commissions, plus the inaugural PlayGround Film Festival this season.
