The Dartmouth Alumni Association of Silicon Valley has invited the Yale Club of San Francisco to join them for a special scotch tasting.

The Glenfiddich Distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant in Dufftown, Scotland, in the valley of the River Fiddich. Glenfiddich means “valley of the deer” in Gaelic, hence the presence of a deer symbol on Glenfiddich bottles. William Grant & Sons remains an independent, family-owned Scottish company.

Together we'll uncork several of the older and rarer expressions, such as Glenfiddich 12 Years Old, Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15 Years Old, Glenfiddich 18 Years Old, Glenfiddich Gran Reserva 21 Years Old, and Glenfiddich 30 Years Old.

In addition, you’ll be provided with the opportunity to share and expand your knowledge of the quality and time-honored processes that characterize Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided, as well as a chance to ask the Distillery Ambassador, Mitch Bechard, in-depth questions.

(The ticket deadline was April 21st.)
