Presented by the AAAYA of Northern California.

The Association of Asian American Yale Alumni of Northern California presents a "Master's Chai" with Magistrate Judge Donna Ryu, YC '82.

Date: Thursday, October 7, 2010

Time: 6:30pm

Location: Offices of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, One Embarcadero Center, 30th floor, San Francisco

Join us for a discussion with the Honorable Donna M. Ryu, United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of California.  Magistrate Judge Ryu graduated from U.C. Berkeley School of Law and entered private practice before co-founding a civil rights law firm in Oakland. From 2002 until her appointment as a magistrate judge earlier this year, Magistrate Judge Ryu was a professor in the Civil Justice Clinic of U.C. Hastings College of the Law. Come hear Magistrate Judge Ryu discuss in an informal atmosphere her rich history of experiences, including her time at Yale, being Asian American, being an openly lesbian federal judge, and some of her professional accomplishments.

You must RSVP in order to gain entry into the building.  Please RSVP by October 4 to Neill Tseng at neillt@gmail.com.
