    To lead effectively in a complex world, leaders must be able to welcome diversity, adapt to constant change, innovate constantly, learn continuously, work collaboratively, and consider their impact on a wider and wider community.  In this workshop, Martin Boroson, consultant, coach, and author of One-Moment Meditation, trains you in the basics of his playful, practical approach to mediation, and shows you how the meditative mind can help you develop leadership presence, manage stress, make better decisions, respond to change, and thrive in the moment. 

    Bio:  Martin Boroson studied philosophy at Yale, earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management, and trained in transpersonal psychology with Dr. Stanislav Grof. His new book, One-Moment Meditation: Stillness for People on the Go, has been published in eight languages. He is an organizational consultant, and he teaches One-Moment Meditation® in leadership seminars, workplaces, hospitals, and the media.  Said Psychologies magazine, “It’s hard to overestimate how helpful this technique could be.”    

    Workshop #2: The Career Within You

    Bio: An innovator in business applications of personalization, Ingrid Stabb holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. She works with hundreds of individuals on their career development, writes a column for TALK Journal, organizes workshops, and co-chairs the Yale SOM Career Management Committee. Stabb has been featured in the New York Times and on local Channel 7 ABC's The View From The Bay. Her multi-sector management career spans Fortune 500 companies, international startups, non-profit work and the U.S. government. As an expert in personalization, she helps major companies better target specific demographics and increase customer loyalty. Stabb was a key developer in SCORE! Educational Center’s business model, which employed personalized educational software—the first of its kind. Stabb is currently a social media marketer for Lithium Technologies, Inc.
