Dear alumni friends,

Over the next few months, the Yale Club of San Francisco will be transforming into an organization that challenges what it is to be a traditional alumni club.  We will continue to offer the traditional social and networking events for you to meet other alumni that have been the mainstay of our club, as well as continue to provide thought-provoking speakers to slake your never-ending thirst for learning and intellectual conversation.

However, as a group of individuals, we believe that Yale alumni have great power to benefit their community when their collective spirit and ingenuity is harnessed -- whether it be for the benefit of the Yale community or the community at large. 

The Yale Club of San Francisco is embarking on a strategic planning process to develop a mission and vision that focuses on more than the dated purview of a traditional alumni club.  We hope you'll be a part of that process.  Please contact me at vidhyaprabhakaran [at] dwt.com if you are interested in participating in our strategic planning process, as we transform the Yale Club of San Francisco beyond a simple alumni club to a powerful network engaged in enriching the community. 

While we are in the middle of this transformation, becoming a member of the Club not only ensures that the Club maintains the infrastructure it needs to carry out this transformation, but also entitles you to a driver's seat in that transformation.   We will be soliciting the advice and feedback of our members throughout the transformation process.  

Not to mention that membership has its benefits -- access to exclusive member events, member-only areas of the website, and discounted tickets to YCSF events.  

So join us. We will do more for you, for Yale, and for our communities with your participation and enthusiasm.
